Personal Bio

Hi! I was born and raised in Taipei City, Taiwan, and I love making friends from all over the world. As an undergraduate, I had the opportunity to do independent research in biosensing and metamaterials at a biomedical institute, which later led me to explore electronics-related research at the TSMCxNTU Research Center. I also worked at the Taiwanese Synchrotron and presented my work at various conferences. One adjective that best describes me is "curious," and that's probably why I love talking about all things hardware, especially in the semiconductor industry.

One thing I really appreciate about Princeton is the vibrant research community, where there's always someone to collaborate or exchange ideas with. If you’re curious about materials science, grad. school or just want to chat about research and experiences, I’d love to explore those topics with you!

A fun fact about me is that I’m a huge fan of milk ice cream and strawberries—I could honestly eat both every single day!

Research Pitch

I like to think of myself as a modern-day alchemist working with crystals, particularly organic semiconductor crystals. I specialize in growing nanoscale thin films of organic small molecules using various techniques, then inducing crystallization through annealing. My research focuses on manipulating the morphology of these crystals. I also perform "molecular epitaxy," growing one crystal on top of another to explore the fundamental principles of crystal growth and interactions. My specialties lie in thin film fabrication and materials characterization. Please reach out to me if you are interested in organic electronics or crystals!
