Personal Bio

My undergrad was at IIT Bombay, in Mumbai, India. I studied electrical engineering and physics, whereby I developed interests in information and coding theory from both the classical and quantum sides, as well as quantum dynamics and condensed matter physics. I worked on both theory and experimentally-related projects, and pursued two internships in Europe in these fields.

Research Pitch

I am currently interested in how quantum information "scrambles" when the system evolves. This could be a "closed" system, which does not talk to it's environment, or an "open" system, which is intricately being measured from an environment observer. The question of dynamics of quantum information provides fascinating insights in many theoretical areas, as well as more practical areas such as quantum error correction (QEC). I am also interested in QEC and generally interested in looking at machine learning models from a physics perspective.
