Personal Bio

I was born in Xiamen, a coastal island city in southeastern China, where frequent power outages caused by tropical cyclones were a regular part of my childhood. These early experiences have deeply influenced my passion for researching energy resilience under climate extremes.
One of my favorite activities is playing badminton, and I am a member of the Princeton University Badminton Team. I won the Bronze Medal in Mixed Doubles at the 2019 Beijing Universities Badminton Championship.

Fun Fact

I love traveling and photography, and I have explored over 20 countries and more than 100 cities.

Research Pitch

I am an interdisciplinary Postdoctoral Researcher in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, with a B.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. My research focuses on bridging the gap between climate science and energy systems, particularly in enhancing the resilience of energy infrastructures against climate extremes such as tropical cyclones, heatwaves, and wildfires. I develop integrated frameworks for climate-energy risk analysis and resilience strategies, aimed at supporting climate-resilient energy transitions on a warming planet.
